Sally my fourby is a 97, 130, 300 tdi Landrover in which i have done a lot of work in preparation for this journey.
   i have custom built the rear aluminium tray with a mild steel full lockable canopy to hold all of my goodies in.
  
Mechanical.
   front and rear air lockers
   heavy duty coil springs with rear air bags
   larger intercooler
   9000 lbs winch and bull bar
   2 1/2” stainless exhaust
   2 spare tyres 

Fuel & Water.
   120 Ltr long range fuel tank 
   5 x 20 Ltr diesel jerry cans (4 on top & 1 on the back)
   1 x 20 Ltr petrol jerry can (on the back)
   65Ltr water tank (under tray)
   65Ltr water tank (on top of rack)
   2 x 20Ltr water jerry can (in rear canopy)

Inside rear canopy.
   80 Ltr fridge/freezer
   storage for food/cooking gear/stoves
   table,chairs,hammock
   125 cc pitbull moto x bike (for emergencies only)
   air jack/high lift jack and copious amounts of recovery gear
   tent annex for roof top tent.
   some diving/climbing and hiking gear
   inflatable white water and kayak/paddle and vest.
   Tools/spares/oils and maintenance equipment 
   Chainsaw and 1 kva generator (for emergencies)
   12 volt shower system. 

Electrical.
   dual deep cycle, dry cell battery configuration
   1000 watt 240 volt inverter
   90 watt solar panel  

   Yeah yeah i know, way to much! But she will be my home for a few years and i wanted to be self sufficient in all aspects. I will pay for it in fuel and troubles sometimes but as the fuel i use to drive myself my whole carbon life is supported by this vehicle.
