I went to the primate wildlife sanctuary in limbe where they are looking after injured and orphaned primates that have either lost there parents due to being killed for bush meat, which is illegal but it’s hard to combat. also from loss of habitat due to logging the rain forests. they are adamant not to buy any primates because it only causes more of a problem in the dealing and poaching that already occurs. they have about 15 different types from monkeys, baboons to lowland gorrillas. at least something is being done about this problem here but not enough.
